Raising Awareness of road safety issues in Cumbria.
As Artists in Residence, with Christina Lorimer, we worked with the Cumbria Strategic Partnership - (Police, Fire & Ambulance Services, Highways Agency, Hospitals, Council and other stakeholders.) to try to raise awareness around the issue of road accidents to see if art can bring about positive change.
This was part of an Art Council North West initiative "Fusion".
Fusion was an exploratory programme that examined how local strategic partnerships can work in partnership with artists or arts organisations to deliver their objectives through using creative approaches to engagement and delivery. Six different projects were funded for different issues throughout north west England.
