Game Show

Film Installation

 

A solitary translucent living-room armchair "watches" a projector on a TV table. A film projects onto the armchair, clips from a TV Game Show and of a pedestrian waiting to cross the road.

 

Sounds of the prize and of the pedestrian repeating "I want to win the motor car". On the chair is a proscenium arch with a model of the prize car. Interrupting the projection, a rotating glass with Stop and Go pedestrian mirrors send the passing cars along one wall and then up the other.

 

 

Exhibited at "The Sound, Performance, Installation, Video Show" at the Diorama, London.
