Performance (with video)


This piece involves a lectern, a video with the  artist using the persuasive "Trojan Horse" advertising smile (used in his other work).


Standing at the other end of the room, behind the audience, the artist is waving and smiling back at the monitor, mirroring the video. (The video is pre-recorded, the artist is live).


On the table is the book "Persuasion, How opinions are changed"" by Karlins and Abelson (1959).  A matter a fact voice, reads sections from the book discussing and de-constructing methods of persuasion in a non-didactic manner.
